Leveraging COBIT 2019 to Implement IT Governance in Mineral Mining Company

The integration of Information Technology (IT) in companies comes with its own set challenges. One major issue is the loss operational data, which directly affects company's workflow and disrupts activities. To tackle this problem, company assesses IT capability using COBIT 2019 framework. This framework outlines objectives different processes assigns predetermined values to each process. assessment reveals three levels for specific within company: EDM03 (Ensured Risk Optimization) at level 3, APO13 (Managed Security) 2, MEA03 Compliance External Requirements) 3. aims reach 4 these processes. Consequently, recommendations improvement primarily focus on enhancing management information security risks systems, as well increasing compliance policies regulations.
